Entrepreneurship is exciting and creative.
My first business venture was selling drawings with my cousins on the beach in the summer. We were so cute that everyone who passed by would buy one after a long oioioioioiiii.
We were good...
Some of the earnings were reinvested in the business, but most were for ice creams and summer movies (two films for the price of one, outdoors, with kids screaming, adults smoking in your face, and the most uncomfortable metal chairs in the world? It was paradise).
As a teenager, I reinforced my negotiation skills
My father was particularly difficult.
His mantra was: Students were born to suffer scarcity/disasters, so he gave us a minimal weekly allowance and negotiated fiercely when we had a special occasion.
I guess all of that is what pushed me to study business at University.
But I didn't stop there...

I'll just say that I'm happy the correspondence course for lion taming never made it home (I think my mother intercepted my letters).
Now, seriously, I recently discovered that I'm a "multipotentialite," which is a fancy way of calling someone a lifelong fidgetโthose of us who love to learn... well, about everything. I have a lot of natural curiosity, and no book falls into my hands that I don't read.
